Manipulation with microscopic objects

This Masters thesis, „Control of Dielectrophoreses Based on Real-Time Optimization“, is byTomáš Michalek, from the Department of Control Engineering, under the direction of Jiri Zemanek.  The work was awarded the Dean’s prize in 2015.  Through optimal control of electrode arrays, Tomáš has significantly improved the movement of objects in a straight line and within a certain area.  Everything was carefully analyzed and prepared for expansion to larger areas while preserving the microscopic dimensions of the moving objects.  He is also the co-author of publications in the international scientific journal, Electrophoresis.
